Laodicia, an active archaeological site located in Pamukkale was our stop today. The grand city had archaeologist buzzing to find out what secrets the location had to hide. There are currently 5,000 active archaelogical sites in Turkey.
The arts seem to last as the theater seemed to be completely entact. The theater was enormous and all the seats seemed as if they hadn’t moved or been covered throughout the years.
After 3 hot hours walking through the fields, feeling like we were in a scene from gladiator, we stopped at a fabric store and headed back to the hotel.
At the hotel, we (the MBA’s) hung out by the pool in an effort to cool off and worked on our research.
Unfortunately, I felt a little sick and had to call it a night early. Tomorrow we’d be checking out and headed for Afrodisios and the sea side town of Seljuk.
